Joseph St. Pierre

Growing up in the New England seacoast town of Portsmouth N.H., Joseph can remember photographing architecture as early as the 6th grade. Surrounded by an abundance of seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth century architecture, his passion for photography was confirmed and inspired him to further express his artistic nature through experimentation with other art forms including: abstract painting, jewelry making, and music.

Joe’s post secondary education included photo journalism and business marketing. He continued his studies in architectural photography, with Boyd Connell Architecture, after a move to Costa Mesa California. While in California, Joe was a photographer’s assistant, for a commercial photography studio, in Los Angeles.

“California was a great experience for all kinds of reasons, it has a wealth of mid-century modern architecture, which I hadn’t had a lot of exposure to and beautiful natural landscapes with a unique quality of light that only California, and the desert regions of the south west can offer.”

Joe is the owner of JS Photography which specializes in architectural photography. In 2015, Joe expanded his creative services with the addition of JS Airimage which creates still and motion drone aerial imagery. He currently studying cinematography at Maine Media.

Published credits include: Architectural Record, Atlantic Monthly, Woman’s Day, Traditional Home, Home Remodeling, Coastal Home, Around Concord Magazine, and New England Home Magazine.

Complete Streets are streets for everyone! Concord's new Main Street is designed and operated to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and abilities. It is an example of what is known as a "Complete Street." Complete Street programs make it easy to cross the street, walk to shops, and bicycle to work. Safety is a critical goal along with the efficient flow of traffic and other considerations such as parking, emergency vehicles, utilities, storm water treatment, and snow management.
